Bacchus Works lighting

Bacchanale Lamp is a pendant lamp in brushed aluminium, designed and made by Ateljé Ö and Pål Rodenius on Gotland. The lamp was originally created as part of the interior of the critically acclaimed restaurant Bacchanale in Stockholm in 2024 and is now available through Bacchus Works.

From Bacchanale to Bacchus Works

Bacchanale Lamp was developed specifically for the restaurant Bacchanale and takes its name from the place for which it was originally created. What began as part of the restaurant’s interior has evolved into a standalone design object, while retaining its original character and production process.

Designed and made on Gotland

Bacchanale Lamp is designed and made by Ateljé Ö and Pål Rodenius on Gotland. Each piece is individually crafted, meaning that slight variations in surface and finish are a natural part of its character. As a result, no two lamps are completely identical.

Brushed aluminium

The lamp is made from brushed aluminium, a material that gives it a pared-back yet distinctive expression. The treated surface captures and reflects light in different ways depending on its surroundings and viewing angle, while allowing traces of the handcrafted production process to remain visible.

Ateljé Ö × Pål Rodenius

Bacchanale Lamp is the result of a collaboration between Ateljé Ö and Pål Rodenius. With material, function and production as their starting points, they have created a lamp where simple geometry meets a distinctly handcrafted expression – designed and produced on their home island of Gotland.
