AJ52 Society Table from Carl Hansen & Søn is an extremely exclusive desk designed by Arne Jacobsen. Originally, Arne Jacobsen drew the desk as a gift for the American-Scandinavian Foundation's new office in New York in 1952, which means it has never been in production for a broader audience before. Since the summer of 2018, Carl Hansen & Søn holds the rights to the drawings and finally offers the classic desk to design enthusiasts worldwide.
The desk features a stainless steel frame that you can combine with drawers in solid wood and veneer. We have chosen to showcase the desk in walnut, with a beautiful oiled finish. The details of the feet come in the same wood type and finish as the drawers. The tabletop is entirely covered in the exclusive Freja leather of excellent quality in a black color. You can purchase the AJ52 Society Table desk from us with a length of either 140 or 160 centimeters. The drawers are mounted on the left side, but upon request, they can also be mounted on the right side. Contact our customer service if you wish to switch the side of the drawers.
