Mon-Cloud is a modular sofa from the Italian brand Cassina. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the sofa was introduced as part of the brand’s commitment to circular design and sustainable material choices.
The sofa’s frame is built around a metal structure encased in quilted padding made from recycled PET fiber. The seat is filled with the same material, while the foam components are made from CIRCULARREFOAM® – a polyurethane foam with recycled polyols that can be separated and recycled. The sofa is fully demountable thanks to a construction free from glued components.
The raised wooden frame gives a visually light impression and lifts the upholstered sections off the floor. The fabric upholstery rests loosely over the structure and forms a distinct folded edge that follows the silhouette of the sofa.
