In The Air 3 Pendant Lamp is a pendant lamp from the French brand DCWéditions. Designed by Douglas Mont, it draws on retro-futuristic references and nostalgic science fiction. The composition recalls American comic books and films filled with flying saucers, translating that imagery into a structured lighting piece.
The pendant lamp features a black metal frame with three light sources in semi-opaque white opaline glass. The glass globes rest within circular metal rings, creating a configuration that appears balanced in midair. Its biomorphic presence echoes Italian lighting from the 1960s, where technology and imagination informed spatial design.
