Spokes is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Garcia Cumini in 2015. The design is based on light, airy volumes that enclose the light while allowing it to flow through the open structure. The result is a graphic silhouette that changes depending on whether the lamp is switched on or off.
The pendant lamp features a double LED light source that provides direct light onto the surface below the fixture while also diffusing light through the structure. A decorative interplay of light and shadow is created on walls and ceilings, forming a central part of Spokes’ visual expression. The open form creates a distinct volume without appearing solid. Spokes is available in two versions with integrated LED. Both provide warm light at 2700 K and high colour rendering with a CRI above 90. One version features an On/Off function, while the other is dimmable and compatible with PUSH and DALI dimming.
