Symmetry Easy armchair

Symmetry Easy is an armchair from FRAMA, designed in collaboration with Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze of Studio 0405, further developing the series’ architectural design language in a more relaxed direction. With its lower and wider profile, it encourages rest and a more reclined seating position.

The construction combines naturally oiled ash with a woven webbing seat, a clear reference to traditional Danish and Scandinavian furniture design. The choice of materials adds both elasticity and tactility while reinforcing the rhythmic expression of the series. The open structure creates a visually light appearance, where every component is honestly expressed.

As part of the Symmetry series, the armchair carries the same consistent idea of balance and proportion, but with a more informal character. It works equally well in private and public environments, where its calm presence and thoughtful materiality contribute to a harmonious whole.
