Klint 3207 Chair

Klint Chair is a chair from Fredericia Furniture, designed by Kaare Klint in 1936 as a modern interpretation of the classic English country chair.

The design reflects Klint's fundamental view of furniture, where proportions, function and craftsmanship work together in a well-crafted whole. The high back gives the chair a clear and architectural expression, while also contributing to carefully balanced ergonomics. The shape is restrained but carries a sense of tradition that makes it easy to place in different environments. Klint is an early example of the Danish design tradition that Kaare Klint helped establish and which came to influence generations of designers. With its combination of comfort and precision, it is suitable both as a dining chair and as a free-standing object where material feel and construction have a place.

The model is characterized by a high back and carefully balanced ergonomics, designed to function both as a dining chair and as a free-standing seating piece. It exudes classic elegance and is an expression of craftsmanship.
