The B620 Superelliptical Dining Table and four Series 7 3107 Chairs form a dining set in black ash and steel from the Danish brand Fritz Hansen. The table was designed in 1968 by Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson and Arne Jacobsen, while the chair was introduced by Jacobsen in 1955. The combination reflects a functional, technical design language with strong ties to Scandinavian modernism.
Superelliptical is an extendable dining table with a tabletop in durable Fenix laminate or walnut veneer. The laminate version is available in several colors and features an extra-matte, scratch-resistant surface. The steel legs are removable and come in either chrome or powder-coated finishes. The table’s shape was inspired by a mathematical solution to a traffic issue in Stockholm and has since become a Scandinavian design classic.
The Series 7 3107 Chair is a stackable dining chair made from molded veneer with a flexible backrest and chromed steel legs. The black-colored ash veneer highlights the natural grain beneath the surface. The design builds on Jacobsen’s earlier Ant Chair and is available in multiple variations.
This combination includes four Series 7 3107 Chairs in black ash with chrome legs and one B620 Superelliptical Dining Table in white laminate.
