Ålegræs Kalk 881 Wool & Linen Rug

Ålegræs 881 Kalk is a hand-tufted rug from Swedish Kasthall. The rug was designed by Cecilie Manz in 2024 and is part of the Landskab collection. The rug is made with a pile of 77% wool and 23% linen, a base of polyester and a back of polypropylene. The surface is made up of three different pile heights that create a three-dimensional structure with references to seaweed and the changing shapes of nature. The design causes light and shadow to change across the surface of the rug depending on the surroundings and viewing angle. A contrasting bouclé edge frames the shape and provides a clear demarcation between the rug and the floor.

Ålegræs 881 Kalk has a total height of approximately 54 mm and a weight of approximately 5100 g/m². The rug can also be ordered in custom dimensions upon request. Due to the natural materials and craftsmanship processes, the dimensions may vary by up to 2%.
