Feather Parakeet 300 wool and linen rug

Feather Parakeet 300 is a tufted rug designed by Ellinor Eliasson for Swedish Kasthall. The rug combines wool and linen bouclé with fringes inspired by feathers. A layered pattern along the outer edge forms a softly marked border, where the different textures of the materials create depth and variation in the surface. The color scheme draws inspiration from nature and bird life.

The rug comes with a pile of 60% wool and 40% linen, a base of polyester and a back of polypropylene. The interaction between the materials, the fringes and the layered pattern gives the rug a tactile and sculptural structure. The framing border is integrated into the design and marks the shape of the rug against the floor. Due to the natural materials and the craftsmanship processes, the dimensions can vary by up to 2%. The rug can be ordered in custom dimensions upon request.
