The Cobra 629/GI table lamp is a table lamp from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce. This numbered, limited-edition, and signed version was designed by Elio Martinelli and produced in a special yellow colour to commemorate the designer’s 100th anniversary. The lamp is a reading lamp with direct light and consists of two moulded resin bodies. The lower section is mounted on a steel base and connected to the upper section through a central joint that enables 360-degree rotation. This construction allows the light to be directed as needed, making the model suitable for placement on desks, side tables, or other surfaces where focused illumination is desired. The internal reflector is made of white-painted aluminium and contributes to an even distribution of light. The Cobra 629/GI is part of the Cobra series from Martinelli Luce, which is also available in the standard colours white, black, and red, as well as in the Scorpius version and several variations within the Cobra Texture project. This limited-edition table lamp comes with an exclusive commemorative print of Cobra’s original sectional drawing, authenticated by Emiliana Martinelli, daughter of Elio Martinelli and president of the company. The lamp is also supplied with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the edition.
