Serpentine Light is a ceiling lamp designed by the Swedish design studio Front Design for the brand Moooi. The lamp is part of a series of sculptural lamps that explore form through the movement and expression of the material. The design is based on paper-like folds that twist in a spiral, creating a soft, even flow of light and an impression of endless movement. The transparent shape gives the lamp a light and floating expression, while spreading the light in a pleasant way. Serpentine Light works in several environments – above a dining table, in a hallway or as a light point in an office.
