Tigris Rust/Black Wool Rug

Tigris Rust/Black is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots, designed exclusively for Jessie Andrews’ Tase Gallery. The rug interprets mid-century modernism through a contemporary perspective where animal patterns meet architectural and geometric shapes in a balanced color scheme. The golden tones interact with the darker ones and create a composition with both heaviness and lightness. The rug combines references to tiger and zebra in an expression that gives a clear graphic impression in the room.

The hand-knotted design in 100% wool from New Zealand provides a soft and durable surface with a thickness of 10–12 mm. The rug is designed in Stockholm and handmade in Bhadohi, India. The wool rug is suitable for living rooms as well as other environments where a distinctive pattern can define the interior.

For maintenance, gentle vacuuming with a flat nozzle is recommended, avoiding rotating brushes and treating stains immediately without rubbing.
