EA 108 Aluminium Chair

EA 108 is a desk chair from the Swiss brand Vitra. The chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958 as part of the Aluminium Group – a furniture series where construction and design are integrated into an architectural whole. The desk chair has a fixed back and seat position without height adjustment, but is equipped with a swivel function. The seat and back consist of a stretched fabric or leather cover between two aluminum profiles that provide both flexibility and stability without the need for padding. It is a stylish and neat chair that fits equally well in an office environment as at home at the desk.

The EA 108 is considered a modern icon and the chair was originally developed by the Eames couple for an art collector's home in Columbus, Indiana.
