The Stingray Chandelier is a ceiling lamp from the Danish brand 101 Copenhagen. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hydahl, it is part of a collection where the design language combines inspiration from 1950s lighting with contemporary expression.
The Stingray Chandelier features eight adjustable metal arms and shades crafted from oxidised, plated, and perforated metal that has been hand-brushed. The softly curved shape of the shades creates a gentle, directional light flow. The lamp’s flexible structure allows for adjustment of the light direction as needed.
Its sculptural form gives the lamp a strong presence in the room, making it suitable as a central lighting piece in living rooms, dining areas, or large entryways. The Stingray Chandelier functions both as a light source and an architectural element within the interior.
