Day Bed 710 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. The day bed is stylish with its clean lines, which has made it a classic favorite. The legs are curved at the edge of the bed and this is a clear hallmark of Alvar Aalto's design, which can also be seen in other furniture.
The day bed has become a popular feature not only in the home but also in summer houses as its practical multi-function means that it can be used as a day bed, bed and together with a couple of pillows even as a sofa, and is therefore perfect for smaller spaces.
