Table 83 Walnut Exclusive edition has been developed exclusively for Nordiska Galleriet and is part of a series of five pieces made of walnut-stained birch. The dining table combines the walnut-stained birch with a tabletop in olive green linoleum.

Table 83 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933 and has been in production in the original birch version ever since. The dining table measures 91 x 182 cm.

Alvar Aalto was a pioneer when it comes to lamination and bentwood technology, which was groundbreaking at the time. Among other things, it laid the foundation for the well-known L-shaped legs that support the stool and have become perhaps Aalto's most well-known signature. Table 83 is manufactured with a minimum of components, which makes transportation economical from a sustainability perspective.
