Up Junior is a small variation of the iconic Up armchair, better known as Big Mama, designed by Gaetano Pesce for B&B Italia. This version of the armchair is intended for use by children aged 3 and up. The armchair has the same proportions as the original and is as comfortable as it is playful. With this armchair you have the opportunity to decorate your child's room in a tasteful way. When Gaetano Pesce designed Up, he did so based on his own personal perception of women. He believes that the woman has always been involuntarily imprisoned by herself. The armchair's footrest resembles a foot shackle, which can symbolize how the woman is bound in her home.
