Drum Optical is a hexagonal chair with a high backrest from Italian Cappellini, created by Mac Stopa in 2016. The unusual shape pays homage to the hexagonal straps of the 1980s, while being modular and can be built in a variety of ways to create larger surfaces. Drum Monocolor is padded with polyethylene with several densities for maximum comfort and comes fully wrapped in an optical fabric that gives the illusion of being 3 dimensional, which is available in three different colors.

The Drum Optical has a slightly curved seat for added comfort and a high backrest of just under 1.5 m that also doubles as a neck rest. Drum Optical will be an eye-catching addition to any living room and the Drum Pouf footstool is available to complete the set.
