The Sestiere Vase - Light Blue/Petrol Green was designed by Patricia Urquiola for the Italian brand Cassina. The vase is part of the Sestiere collection, which has interpreted the traditional Venetian glassworking technique. Each vase is shaped with a blown glass ball and a net of strings, called "morise" in the Murano tradition. The handmade morises have the characteristic striped motif of the lagoon, called "rigadin". The harmonious and modern combination creates an exciting work that elevates traditional Venetian glassmaking. The vase comes in a variety of stylish finishes.
