The Empire chair is designed by cabinet maker and designer Sami Kallio for NO GA Studio. Its shape is inspired by 1920s architecture, adding elegant detailing to its design. The chair’s frame is made from FSC-certified solid ash, paired with a woven seat crafted using custom-made webbing. Sami Kallio has honed his skills in traditional woodworking and combines modern industrial techniques with handcrafted methods. His goal is to create furniture with a long lifespan and an efficient use of materials.
