Spindle Bench is designed by designer Nathan Yong for the Belgian wooden furniture company Ethnicraft. The elegant bench is made of solid oak that has been treated with pigmented hardwax oil. Yong got inspiration for this bench from the wheel of a traditional spinning wheel. This can be seen most clearly in the slats that make up the bench's backrest, which resemble the spokes found in the wheels of a spinning wheel. The bench can advantageously be placed stylishly in a hall as well as at a dining table and become part of a seating area.
