The pendant light from the Caravaggio lamp series was designed by Cecilie Manz in 2005 for Fritz Hansen's brand Fritz Hansen. With Caravaggio P1 Pendant light, Manz has taken classic lamp design and given it a modern expression, a contemporary design that fits into many interiors. Caravaggio was an instant success on the market and is produced in a variety of designs as a pendant light, as well as a floor lamp, a wall lamp, and a table lamp. The shade is made of lacquered aluminum and is available in four sizes.

The lamp can be chosen as high gloss or as matt. The shade is suspended by a fabric covered cable and the suspension is made of beautiful, chrome-plated steel. The Caravaggio provides directional light downwards while a dimple at the top of the shade allows some of the light to be diffused upwards.
