Skagen is a bench cushion from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, designed for the Skagen bench in the series created by Mogens Holmriis. The Skagen series is named after Denmark’s northernmost point and draws inspiration from the area’s natural landscape. Careful craftsmanship and elegant silhouettes define the collection’s Nordic expression.
The Skagen cushion is specially tailored to the shape of the bench and provides a soft yet supportive seating surface. The cushion features quick-drying foam developed for outdoor use and upholstery in Oeko-Tex-certified fabric. The material is weather-resistant and designed to drain away water while resisting dirt and mould. The cushion is available in several timeless colours and patterns and is secured to the bench with ties that help keep it firmly in place.
