The Pot, also known as the Gryden, is an elegant lounge armchair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1959. Originally, this iconic chair was created to furnish The SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Located opposite the hotel's elevators on each floor, The Pot became a recognizable meeting place. The chair was also used to adorn the hotel's sophisticated Orchid Bar and impressive conservatory. With a newly updated design and materials, The Pot meets today's standards for comfort and durability.
