Parade Portable Lamp 240

Parade Portable Lamp 240 is a portable table lamp from Danish HAY, designed by Viola Heyn-Johnsen and Jonas Trampedach, featuring a geometric form that changes expression depending on the viewing angle. The combination of a square base and an arched top in coloured glass gives the lamp a distinct, almost sculptural character.

The light source and battery are discreetly integrated into the construction, making the lamp a self-contained and easily placed object. Its compact form makes it easy to move between different rooms or use outdoors, where it provides a soft and atmospheric light.

The use of glass as a material adds both weight and transparency, enhancing the interaction between light and form. Parade Portable Lamp 240 can be used individually or grouped together with other sizes and colours in the series, where proportions and shades are carefully selected to complement one another in a considered way.
