The Experiment Chair from HEM was designed by the Finnish designer Yrjö Kukkapuro in 1982. The armchair has become an iconic example of 80s design. The chair combines functionalism with postmodern influences and is known for its ergonomic features and detailed construction. The Experiment Chair has now been reintroduced with new upholstery options and an easily adjusted size to meet modern demands. The decorative armrests, where red symbolizes fire, are faithful to the original and reflect Kukkapuro's quest to unite art and functionality.
