The Austrian iSi brand was founded on 14 May 1964, but the brand's journey had begun long before that. As early as 1867, Carl Pochtler was officially registered as a turner and manufacturer of syringes and mechanical instruments, which was the starting point for the creation of siphons. The company was quickly honoured with several prestigious awards. Almost one hundred years later, Karl Fischer-Pochtler GmbH bought all the shares in the company and the brand name as we know it today began to take shape with the well-known logo. To this day, iSi is family-owned with a direct descendant of Pochtler leading the company with an innovative business strategy.
