Cache Dining Table is a dining table designed in 1952 by Paul McCobb. This produced by the Danish brand Karakter, which handcrafts it from solid materials such as metal and wood. The Cache Dining Table has a base made of black powder-coated steel with straight, slender shapes. The modern, minimalist base is contrasted by a stylish tabletop in lacquered oak.
The Cache Dining Table is part of the extensive Planner series developed by Paul McCobb in the early 1950s. One of the greatest American designers of his time, McCobb was the first to bring modern design into the American home. The collection is characterized by its uncluttered design with no unnecessary decorations. The design and versatility of the furniture made the Planner series one of the most successful furniture lines of its time.
