The Platner Dining Table was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1962 and is an elegant dining table. The gold-plated version was introduced in 2015 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Platner collection. The dining table has a base made of several bent and welded pieces, which generate a marble effect unique to the Platner collection. All metal components are gold-plated in 18-carat gold and covered with a transparent protective lacquer coating. The round table top is made of clear glass. The Platner Dining Table pairs well with the Platner Side Chair from the same series by Knoll.
