Muuto's Visu Bar Stool was designed by Mika Tolvanen in 2014. The stool has a seat height of 65 cm and is suitable for kitchen islands or slightly higher dining tables. Visu Bar Stool is made with a veneer seat and solid wood base, which, like the steel base, are lacquered in a uniform color. The oak version is produced with an oak veneer or white lacquered seat and solid oak base, clear lacquered to bring out the elegant and stylish design of the chair, adding a modern touch to the home. When Tolvanen designed the Visu Bar Stool, his idea was to create a chair that was comfortable even though it was taller than a classic dining chair. With the right proportions and a comfortable footrest at the right height, the result was Visu Bar Stool.
