Vidar Chair

Vidar is a dining chair designed by Sami Kallio, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design in a carefully balanced whole. Its refined proportions and considered construction create a light visual expression, while the materiality and detailing highlight the quality of its craftsmanship. A defining feature of the chair is its hand-woven seat, which introduces both visual rhythm and tactile depth. The woven construction enhances the chair’s character while showcasing the craftsmanship behind each piece. Vidar is crafted in oiled oak outside Lviv, Ukraine, in a region with a long-standing tradition of woodworking and furniture making. Available with or without armrests.
