Loops is designed by American designer Giancarlo Valle for the brand Nordic Knots. The wool rug is part of the elegant Giancarlo Valle Collection rug collection. The rugs are handmade in soft New Zealand wool with a cut pile and a thickness of 12 mm. The motifs are inspired by hand-painted furniture from Valle's family home in Guatemala City. The shape of each rug is playfully carved, with clear influences from Nordic folklore. The collection explores color as an emotional language, where each rug carries a dialogue between different cultures and memories. The rugs are hand-woven in small editions. Only a few copies are available in each size. They fit perfectly in interior environments where they can take their place – such as a living room, library or open spaces in need of a visual and tactile centerpiece.
