Orleans Beige/Green Wool Rug

Orleans is a rug designed by interior designer Michelle R. Smith for Swedish textile brand Nordic Knots. The rug is part of the Studio MRS collection, which is based on classic geometric patterns reinterpreted with a subtle, nostalgic expression. The rug is handwoven in New Zealand wool – a material that combines softness with durability. The plain weave design gives a low and supple profile with a thickness of 6 mm. The forest green color palette and versatile pattern give the rug a harmonious design expression that fits in both rural homes and urban environments. The production takes place in Bhadohi, India, a traditional center for carpet production. The wool rug is produced in small editions with limited numbers of copies per size. Goodweave™ certification guarantees that the manufacturing takes place under ethical conditions. Discover more handwoven wool rugs from Nordic Knots with us.
