Honey - Stilnovo

Honey Ceiling Lamp – Stilnovo

Honey is a series of ceiling lamps from Stilnovo, designed by Pio and Tito Toso. The series combines geometric form with technically refined lighting. The result is a ceiling lamp that unites function with a clear and consistent design expression.

Design and Aesthetic

Honey is characterized by its round shape and modular structure, inspired by the geometry of a honeycomb. The repeated geometry creates a unified expression and gives the lamp a clear visual identity.

The form is geometric with soft transitions, creating a balanced whole. The construction is cohesive and consistent throughout the series, where each module contributes to the overall form without interruption. The expression is defined and built on repetition and symmetry rather than decorative details.

Depending on its size, the lamp acquires different visual weight. Smaller models appear more discreet, while larger formats become more prominent in the room. However, the form and construction remain the same, regardless of the version.

Material and Light

The fixture is made of polycarbonate, a durable and lightweight material with glass-like properties. The material is used in contexts where durability and low weight are important factors. The glossy, white surface contributes to an even light distribution across the entire fixture.

The material's properties ensure that light is evenly diffused and sharp contrasts are reduced. This provides a homogeneous light without distinct shadow zones. The construction is designed to deliver stable light quality across the entire surface.

The integrated LED light source provides a warm white light and has high color rendering. This means that colors are reproduced accurately and without distortion. The combination of light source and material results in an even and stable light.

Functionality and Versions

Honey is an LED pendant lamp and ceiling lighting with external dimmability. This allows for adjusting the light intensity depending on needs and use.

The series is available in several sizes and versions. The round models have diameters of 58, 86, and 110 cm. The elongated model has a length of 139 cm. The differences in size allow the series to be used in various types of projects and environments.

In addition to ceiling lamps, the series also includes wall lamps in two sizes. This provides the opportunity to work with the same form and lighting principle in multiple parts of a room or in larger contexts.

Stilnovo

Stilnovo is an Italian brand focused on lighting design. The company collaborates with established designers and develops fixtures where technology, material, and form interact.

The Honey series is an example of this work, where a clear geometric construction is combined with well-considered material choices and defined lighting characteristics.
