Akari UF1-H is a table lamp by Vitra designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1951 as part of the Akari lamp range. The Akari lamp range consists of lamps made by hand from shoji paper, paper made from the bark of mulberry trees. Akari UF1-H is made of white and black shoji paper with a steel frame. The lamp is held up by four legs that are painted black.All the light sculptures in the Akaris range are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, reinforcing the authenticity of each product.
