The Sunflower Clock is a large 75 cm diameter clock available in two different variations, made of black lacquered ash or natural beech with elegant brass details and a high quality quartz movement. The clock is part of the Nelson Wall Clocks series, designed by George Nelson for Vitra between 1948 and 1960.
The aim of the series was to introduce modern design into American homes. All the clocks are clearly inspired by the growing economic prosperity and the strong sense of future that permeated the United States in the 1950s. The sculptural expression of the watch adds a modern twist to your home decor. The product comes with a 1.5 volt battery.
