Chair 66 Exclusive Edition has been developed exclusively for the Nordic Gallery and is part of a series of five pieces specially designed in walnut-stained birch.
The chair was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935 and has been in production in the original birch version ever since. Aalto was a pioneer when it comes to lamination and bentwood technology, which was groundbreaking at the time. Among other things, it laid the foundation for the well-known L-shaped legs that support the stool and have become perhaps Aalto's most well-known signature.
This chair is only available to buy from us and is part of a range of exclusive editions.
