Plateau coffee table

Plateau Coffee- & Side Table is a table from the Danish brand dk3, designed by Søren Rose Studio in 2015, where a pared-back form meets substantial materials. Its balanced combination of a solid wood tabletop and a slender three-legged steel base creates an expression that is both stable and visually light.

The design is rooted in the idea of the origin of wood, with the tabletop evoking raw slices cut directly from a tree trunk. Throughout the design process, details were gradually reduced to achieve a restrained and refined whole, allowing proportions and materials to speak for themselves. Plateau Coffee- & Side Table is part of a series available in several sizes and wood types, offering flexibility in how the tables can be used, either individually or in combination.
