Alberto Coffee Table

Alberto is a coffee table from DUX, originally designed in 1979 and since then a recurring part of the brand’s design history. Following its relaunch in 2014, the model has become a clear representative of DUX’s design language, where materials and construction interact with a restrained expression.

In this limited anniversary edition, created to mark 100 years of DUX design, the table is given a new materiality. The chrome-plated steel frame is combined with a tabletop and shelf in marble terrazzo, whose earthy tones add a soft contrast to the polished metal. Each piece is individually numbered in an edition of 100, giving the object a distinct collector’s appeal.

Alberto works equally well as a coffee table in a living room setting as a freestanding element in more public spaces. Its balanced construction and carefully selected materials result in a piece of furniture that is both functional and visually grounded in its context.
