Lucia Eames Echo Terracotta Wool Rug

Lucia Eames Echo is a hand-tufted wool rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. The rug is designed by Lucia Eames and is based on a collage that explores rhythm and repetition in nature, where shapes recur and change in continuous sequences. The contrasts of the collage have been transferred to a textile composition with graphic shapes and color fields.

The rug is made of 100% New Zealand wool and has a density of 56,000 tufts per square meter and a total height of 17 mm. The hand-tufting is combined with a carving technique, where variations in the rug's levels create volume and depth in the motif. The wool rug can be placed in living rooms, bedrooms and other social environments where it functions as both a floor textile and a graphic element.
