Ricardo Bofill. Visions of Architecture Architecture Book

This architectural monograph brings together some of Bofill's most characteristic projects – from La Muralla Roja and Walden 7 to La Fábrica. The book provides an in-depth insight into an architectural thinking that challenged established norms of urban planning and communal living.

Ricardo Bofill was one of the most distinctive architects of the 20th century, known for his visionary world of form and poetic perception of space. His works combine surrealism, monumentality and social commitment, and formulate an alternative path for architecture as both idea and practice.

The monograph contains newly photographed material by Salva López, texts by, among others, Nacho Alegre, Douglas Murphy and Bofill himself, as well as drawings and floor plans that place the projects in technical and historical context.
