Modern Pink Wool Rug

Modern Pink is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. The rug belongs to the Modernist Collection and is based on references to Swedish functionalism and early modernism, where architectural shapes and geometric repetitions define the design expression. The design language is based on a pattern with a rhythmic structure, where lines and shapes interact in a balanced composition. The rug is handwoven with a 13 mm cut pile, which provides a smooth, low surface with clear precision in the pattern. The material consists of 100% wool from New Zealand. The design was developed in Stockholm and the production takes place by hand in Bhadohi, India. The collection is produced in small editions where each size is produced in limited numbers.
