Carl dining table Ø115 cm extendable without extension leaf is a dining table designed by the Swedish designer Marit Stigsdotter for Stolab. The table is an interpretation of Carl Malmsten’s design language and draws inspiration from the classic Lilla Åland chair, visible in the generously rounded edges and the soft apron. The design language is rooted in traditional Swedish craftsmanship, where the details are carefully crafted.

The table is made of solid birch or solid oak and is available in several finishes. The bevelled tabletop clearly accentuates the transition to the turned base, whose legs are slightly splayed for both stability and visual balance. Carl is part of Stolab’s collection of round wooden dining tables and is designed with flexibility in mind, as it can be extended with additional leaves when needed.

The table’s diameter makes it well-suited for kitchens and smaller dining rooms, where the round shape creates a natural gathering point. Pair it with the Lilla Åland chair for a cohesive look in the room.
