Eames RE Plastic Side Chair LSR

The Eames RE Plastic Side Chair LSR was designed by designers Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. This dining chair was a favorite of the design duo and they used the low chair throughout the Eames House, their legendary home in Pacific Palisades. It is made with a shell made of recycled plastic, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Since 2024, the shells of all Eames Plastic Chairs have been made from 100% recycled plastic. The recycled plastic comes from the collection of plastic packaging from German households, in the “Yellow Bag” collection program, and is of premium quality. Using recycled raw materials instead of petroleum-based primary plastic means that climate-damaging emissions are significantly reduced, just like primary energy consumption. The shell is of course recyclable at the end of its product life.
