Florida windsor bench

Florida is a spindle bench by Wigells, designed by Ebbe Wigell during the 1950s and reintroduced in the latter part of the 2010s. It is part of the Florida collection, a series distinguished by its timeless expression and strong connection to the Scandinavian furniture tradition.

The classic spindle construction gives the bench a light and airy appearance, with the vertical spindles creating a rhythmic structure. Its simple, carefully considered form allows it to adapt effortlessly to a wide range of interiors and settings over time. The Florida spindle bench is crafted from wood, a material that brings warmth and natural variation. Knots and variations in colour and grain are part of the material's character, giving each piece a unique appearance. The bench is equally suited to the hallway, kitchen or living room, where its balanced proportions and understated design make it a versatile addition to both residential and public interiors.
