Aarke kitchen

The Swedish design studio Aarke was founded in 2013 by the two friends Jonas Groth and Carl Ljungh with the vision to make the small, trivial routines of everyday life a reality through stylish home appliances created in the design of a bygone era. The brand's first product, the Aarke Carbonator, quickly became popular and is now used by customers in more than 30 countries and is featured in design magazines around the world.

Stylish design, quality materials & creative ingenuity

Aarke wants to inspire people to lead a more sustainable lifestyle with less plastic and less English. Every minute, one million plastic bottles are thrown around the world and only about 9% are recycled, the rest ending up in the oceans or in landfill. By offering high-quality carbonation machines and bottles made of glass and PET, Aarke makes it possible for a single bottle to replace thousands of bottles.

The company's studio and workshop are located in Södermalm in Stockholm. The entire design process takes place there, from the first sketch to the final design. To ensure the quality and performance of the products, Aarke works closely with experienced designers and engineers. In the development of the filter granulate, the company collaborated with one of the worlds leading companies in water technology, BWT. This has resulted in past premium products, both in form and function, that make water better and cleaner. Minimalist products designed with elegant details that become a seamless part of the kitchen environment.
