This water filtration jug is designed by the Swedish company Aarke. The water filter jug is made of glass and stainless steel and uses a filter technology developed in collaboration with BWT to reduce limescale, chlorine and heavy metals in the water. The design combines a refillable filter system with materials developed for daily use in the kitchen.
The water filtration jug is equipped with Aarke's ReFilter System™ in stainless steel and filters up to 120 liters of water per refill bag. The filter granulate is poured directly into the filter container and filtration takes between three and five minutes per liter. An integrated indicator in the lid makes it easy to keep track of when the filter granulate needs to be replaced, usually every four weeks.
The water filter jug holds a total of 2.36 liters with a filtration volume of 1.18 liters. It is made of glass, stainless steel, silicone and BPA-free thermoplastic approved according to international food standards. The package includes a refill bag with Pure Filter Granules, a removable silicone cover for the glass carafe and a cleaning cloth.
