Conversational Objects Cutlery Holder & Cutlery Set 16 Pieces

Conversational Objects is a cutlery set with accompanying cutlery holder designed in 2023 by Virgil Abloh for the Italian brand Alessi. The cutlery set consists of 16 pieces: four spoons, four forks, four knives and four small spoons in 18/10 stainless steel with a matte brushed finish. The set includes a cutlery holder in 18/8 stainless steel with a corresponding matte finish.

Virgil Abloh designed the series as a tool kit for the dining table, with references to garages, industrial assembly and shared meals. The cutlery holder has the shape of a threaded bolt and functions both as storage for the cutlery and as part of the construction. The connection to industrial assembly means that the set is assembled by the user.
