The Cosmic Angel pendant light was designed in 2009 by Ross Lovegrove for Artemide. The lamp has a streamlined body made of thermoplastic with suspended reflectors cast in aluminum that together create an indirect light in striking patterns.

The idea behind Lovegrove's design is to create and freeze an image where air and gravity play their part, creating a sculptural flow. Lovegrove himself has described it as creating, like the cosmos, a complexity of form that creates a sense of impermanence. Cosmic Angel has a unique shape that creates unique shadows and thanks to its design it attracts attention even in the simplest of rooms, even when it is closed. Cosmic Angel is also available as a ceiling lamp.
